About Company

Cannabis ruderalis was first described in 1924 by the Russian botanist Dmitrij Janischewsky, who studied wild populations in Russia. The name derives from the Latin word for rubble, reflecting the plant’s habit of colonizing roadsides and disturbed ground. For decades, ruderalis genetics attracted little interest from cultivators because the plants were small and produced negligible amounts of THC. Attention shifted only when breeders recognized the value of flowering that is independent of day length.
